Most travelers to Israel/Palestine are concerned about coping with the heat. However, wintertime travel brings a different set of challenges. Rain and snow are a part of life here, especially in the highlands between December and March. As heavy rains swept through the region today, it made me think twice about what to wear if you do a pilgrim/study tour during the winter months. Check out the brief video below for thoughts about what to bring.
If you are a pastor, church leader, or educator who is interested in international travel, let me hear from you. I partner with faith-based groups to craft and deliver outdoor academic experiences. Leaders receive the same perks that other agencies offer, at competitive prices, and without the self-serving interests that often derail pilgrim priorities.
